From the initial consultation until long after the project is complete, our approach keeps you involved, informed, and excited about the transformation of your home. We treat every project like it's our own home, your experience throughout the project is just as important as the quality of construction.

Step 1: Connect with Us

The first step is to fill out our contact form or call us.

Please include as many details as possible about your project. Send us pictures as well, the more info you provide, the more accurately we can assess your project and provide solutions on our next phone call
Step 2. Phone Consultation

We start with a discovery phone call to understand your project in depth, we will discuss timing, pricing and how we may be able to help.

If we're a good fit, we'll schedule a visit to your home.​
Step 3: In Home Consultation – Understanding Your Vision

We get to know each other and go over the details of your project. We want to fully understand your goals, what key elements will make the project a success for you?

Do you to want more space for entertaining, do you want a better use of space (bathrooms, storage, bedrooms) for your family and guests, or do you want to seamlessly incorporate your outdoor and indoor space?

We'll ask you to walk us through your home so you can share your ideas, vision and also those nagging pain points. We'll offer our feedback and identify any additional opportunities to enhance your space or challenges to overcome.

We will discuss approximate price ranges, timing and logistics.

Your in home consultation starts at $500, which will be applied to your project if you decide to move forward.
Step 4: Preconstruction Service Agreement
Your Design Team

Following the consultation, we present a proposal for our preconstruction service agreement, you'll also receive a preliminary cost proposal for your renovation or build.

We are fortunate to work with several amazing architects and designers, we will help match you with the best fit based on your style and vision. If you have architectural plans, drawings and a designer already, we're happy to collaborate with them.

In addition to the fees from your architect, designer, engineer and other professionals, our preconstruction services agreement ranges from $1,500 for smaller renovations, to $10,000 or more for large, complex additions and custom homes.
Step 5: Design & Preconstruction Planning

This is where the fun really begins, the design team translates your vision and ideas into initial concepts and plans, customized to your lifestyle and specific needs.

We collaborate with all of the professionals on your project, including engineers and certified energy advisors to design an energy efficient home (comfortable, quiet, cleaner air quality and lower energy bills)

We provide feedback on feasibility and costs (constructability) to keep the design on track and aligned with your budget. Together we establish detailed plans, scopes of work, and timelines, bringing it all together for a clear roadmap to completion.

We coordinate all the details including arranging testing for hazardous materials (asbestos)

After permit plans are prepared for submission, the next step is choosing materials and finishes. The more selections and decisions that are made ahead of construction, the more accurate we can make your budget and timeline.
Step 6: Permitting – Securing Approvals

We work closely with city officials and the design team to make sure your plans meet all bylaws and building codes

Any revisions or adjustments are made as required, with permits approved we can begin scheduling.
Step 7: Construction Agreement and Scheduling

Once permit plans are approved, the construction budget and contract can be finalized.

The detailed planning from the design and preconstruction phase is put in motion and schedules are set with our trusted trades and suppliers.
Step 8: Construction – Bringing Your Vision to Life

We get to work! Our team provides weekly and sometimes daily updates to keep you connected and informed at every step of the journey.

Some tasks are performed with our in-house construction team, and others are performed by our trusted trade partners, and sub trades. Any change orders or alterations are agreed upon if they come up, timelines and budgets are updated to reflect any additional work.

Depending on the size of project there can be dozens of inspections throughout the course of the project, engineers, city building officials and warranty providers. We also conduct regular inspections to ensure all the work is completed to our standards
Step 9: Completion Walkthrough and Cleanup

Upon project completion we conduct a detailed walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets your expecations

Any finishing touches are schedule if necessary and we walk you through all the systems and maintenance needs of your new home
Step 10: Warranty & Continued Support – Peace of Mind

We stand behind our work, and are proud members of associations such as the Homebuilders Association of Vancouver (HAVAN), Canadian Home Builders Association of BC (CHBABC) and the national RenoMark Program.

We provide an extensive two year warranty on labour and materials, plus any additional manufacturer’s warranties.

On new homes we partner with Pacific Home Warranty to provide a comprehensive 2 year warranty on labour and materials, 5 year warranty on the building envelope and 10 year warranty on the building structure
